CN and the United Steelworkers Union announced today that they have reached a tentative agreement covering approximately 3000 employees who inspect, maintain and repair the railway’s track and bridges.
The union will be holding ratification meetings across Canada during March. Results of the ratification vote are expected in late March or early April. The previous agreement expired on December 31, 2023 and negotiations commence in October of last year.
