The St. Lawrence Seaway System is announcing the closing dates for the 2023 navigation season:

  1. The Montreal- Lake Ontario Section closing date will be January 5, 2024
  2. The Welland Canal Section closing date will be January 7, 2024
  3. Sault Ste, Marie Lock s and Canal closing date will be January 15, 2024
