Tentative Settlement Announced
This afternoon, the Ministers of Labour and Transportation announced that management had labour had accepted the “Terms of Settlement” proposed by the Labour Canada mediation service, resulting in a tentative four-year agreement.
Following the announcement of the tentative agreement, the Port of Vancouver issued an update stating that ILWU labour will return to work beginning at 1630 hours Pacific Time, July 13.
FMA will continue to keep the membership informed as new information on ratification of the agreement becomes available.
