Bob Ballantyne is pleased to announce that the FMA Board of Directors has approved the appointment of John Corey as President of the Freight Management Association of Canada, effective January 1, 2021.
Bob has had the honour of being President of FMA for the past 18 years, after a long career at the Canadian Pacific Railway. Working at FMA has been a valuable and satisfying learning experience for Bob, seeing supply chains from the shipper perspective, after many decades with a carrier.
John was previously employed in a senior role at the Canadian Transportation Agency and Bob has known him for many years. John will provide great leadership for FMA and its member companies as new logistics and supply chain challenges and opportunities emerge. Bob will be continuing to work with John and Cindy Hick, FMA Vice-President, in an advisory capacity going forward.
We wish John every success as he takes over the leadership of FMA.
