On Tuesday, July 30, during the media session on the CPKC Q2 financial update, CPKC CEO, Keith Creel, was questioned about the labour situation as the August 9 CIRB “essential services” decision approaches.
In the Freightwaves news report, Mr. Creel s quoted as follows.
With labor negotiations at a standstill, a Canadian rail strike is likely to occur in late August.
