The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) is the agency responsible for border control at Ports of Entry, such as land crossings, air and marine terminals.
The Public Service Alliance Canada (PSAC) issued a news release this afternoon, June 11, reporting that a tentative agreement has been reached covering approximately 9,000 CBSA border service employees.
The PSAC news release states:
The Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) and the Customs and Immigration Union (CIU) have reached a tentative agreement for more than 9,000 workers at CBSA, avoiding potential job action at Canada’s borders.
