Following passage of Bill C-29 last evening, the Maritime Employers Association issued the following statement this morning.
Statement from the Maritime Employers Association (MEA), Saturday May 1st, 2021:
We take note of the law passed last night by the federal government and we will respect it.
Under the terms of the collective agreement, activities at the port will gradually resume today.
