The first is a webinar on the new NAFTA agreement on April 27, hosted by “Invest Ottawa”. This webinar will provide details on the new NAFTA agreement that is expected to come into force later this year. There is no charge to participate. IMO Low Sulphur Fuel & Impact of COVID-19 on implementation
The second webinar is hosted by the FMA’s U.S. counterpart organization, the National Industrial Transportation League (NITL) on April 22. This webinar deals with the new International Marine Organization’s (IMO) requirement that all ocean carriers must now be using fuel containing no more than 0.5% sulphur. The arrival of COVID-19 is potentially causing complications for marine carriers and could have an impact on costs for shippers.
