Following from the strike of CN conductors, train persons and yard persons last November, the parties reached a tentative agreement late last year.
CN and the Teamsters Canada Rail Conference (TCRC) announced on January 31 that the agreement has now been ratified. The agreement was approved by 91.3% of the union membership.
The three-year agreement is retroactive to July 23, 2019 and will expire on July 22, 2022.
CN has no labour agreements expiring in 2020 and CP has two agreements expiring on December 31, 2020 as reported on the list of major transportation labour agreements expiring in 2020 as previously sent to the membership.
